Frequently Asked Questions

I receive around 30 emails an hour during business hours and 10 an hour during off hours so I've gotten used to responding to the same question more than once but there comes a time when an FAQ will be beneficial to my stress level and help you get the answers you need a lot faster.

  • Q. Where were you born?
  • A. Gainesville, FL which is an hour or so north of Orlando considered central Florida
  • Q. When did you first log-on to the web?
  • A. It was sometime around 96-97. AOL 2.0 and hanging out in the Townhall chatroom paying for Internet by the minute.
  • Q. How did you get your start with social media?
  • A. I started blogging on LiveJournal in 1999 / Early 2000. I became addicted even joined Myspace the month it was released back in 2003. From there, social media just came naturally.
  • Q. Mac or PC?
  • A. I use Apple Hardware daily but prefer Microsoft Windows. I use it for my entertainment system and I hold certifications from Microsoft and Apple. I am very passionate about technology but I don't pick sides or get political about what people use.
  • Q. Where do you live?
  • A. New Hampshire.
  • Q. How do you make money?
  • A. I help companies grow and evolve their brand by diving into social media. I lead workshops, do one on one instruction and act as a consultant for small and large companies. Currently, I work full time at TomTom.
  • Q. Do you speak at conferences or to groups?
  • A. I've had the honor of being invited to nearly a dozen events in my career and I speak about an assortment of topics from social media, Internet trends, marketing, personal growth and I even cover some of the darker aspects of the web like anonymity, fraud and safety online.

  • Q. What are you currently working on?
  • A. Marketing, Consulting, Speaking, Writing a book, Starting a company, helping citizens fight crime with webcams, planning parties, promoting creative people and finding ways to raise money for charity using social media.
  • Q. How many Twitter Accounts do you have?
  • A. 10 (at this writing).
  • Q. How many RSS feeds do you read and what are your favorite sites?
  • A. I subscribe to 30 feeds. I'd love to tell you what I read but all blogs have something to offer and you should find out what interests you?
  • Q. Do you have any current hobbies outside of what you do now?
  • A. Nope. I'm working as hard as I can to change things and that's my hobby and profession for now.
